We’re partnering with a leading architectural practice with studios across Australia to find an Associate to join their Brisbane team. This award-winning studio is known for its collaborative culture, research-led design approach, and commitment to creating spaces with genuine social and environmental value—particularly across education and social infrastructure.This role offers the opportunity to take a leading position on significant projects, guiding them from concept through to completion. You’ll play a key part in shaping design outcomes, supporting the growth of the studio, and mentoring emerging architects within a multidisciplinary team environment.What You’ll Be DoingLead end-to-end project delivery across design, documentation, and construction phasesTake ownership of education and social infrastructure projects, ensuring design integrity and quality outcomesBuild and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contactCoordinate internal teams, consultants, authorities, and contractorsOversee project budgets, timelines, and compliance requirementsConduct design reviews, manage resourcing, and chair coordination meetingsProvide mentorship and guidance to team members to support professional developmentContribute to business development and studio growth initiativesWhat We’re Looking ForRegistered Architect (or working towards registration) with 8+ years of experienceProven experience leading medium to large-scale projects independentlyDemonstrated background in education, social, or community-focused projectsProficiency in Revit is essential; BIM experience highly regardedStrong understanding of NCC, local regulations, and contract administration (AS2124 or AS4000 preferred)Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to balance creative design with practical and technical requirementsCollaborative mindset with a passion for meaningful, socially responsive designWhy You’ll Love ItJoin a national practice recognised for design excellence and social impactContribute to projects that enhance community well-being and sustainabilityRoom for growth and clear career progression within a supportive leadership teamEnjoy a dynamic studio culture in Brisbane’s CBD with flexible, hybrid work options
