Job Description: As an integral part of Biocon’s Commercial team, position will manage a portfolio of complex projects and would be responsible for driving Business development activities for Generic Formulations in China based out of China as this has been identified as one of the focus markets for commercialization of Biocon’s generic formulations. Primary responsibility will be driving Business development activities while working with a range of internal stakeholders to create opportunities aligned with the organization’s strategy plan. This position will report to Head of China Commercial, Position will set an effective positioning of company's brand messaging together with definable and measurable business development goals and ensure that they are met. Key Responsibilities: As a key member of the Generic Formulation Commercial team, would drive lead generation and successful execution of business development activities by aligning with local partner companies in ChinaSource and screen new potential out-licensing/in-licensing (for other global markets) / Tech-transfer commercial opportunities in China for Biocon portfolio of products Evaluate new products with local market intel, VBP & other data sets for inclusion into Biocon portfolio for China and ensure the filing in alignment with RA teamsInterface effectively with all internal stakeholders of all disciplines including R&D, regulatory, legal, Portfolio, Program management and finance in order to successfully evaluate and drive BD deals executionPrepare and give presentations to senior management regarding the status, progress, and key issues with respect to deal transactions during business reviews Undertake frequent domestic business travel and occasional international business travel as per business needs Experience & Skills required:Excellent experience in business development activities with local generic pharmaceutical companies in China with established connectsExperienced in customer acquisition and retention Experience in evaluating products using tender data bases & market intel Good MS suite skillsGood fluency in Mandarin & English (both written and verbal)
