Further the key element of the role would be to understand, articulate, storyboard and present issues and project plans to senior leadership across the organization. This role requires flexibility to work across US time zones, including early mornings or late evenings to effectively collaborate with the team based in the US. The Associate Director ensures effective functioning and delivery of targeted monitoring programs, including supporting collaboration across various GRM teams. This role serves as a link between senior GRM leadership and KDN operational team to maintain quality, efficiency, and compliance.Operational leadership: Assist the GRM leadership to deliver on the vision and direction for the centralized monitoring team, through management of the offshore centralized monitoring team’s daily operations, ensuring timely and accurate execution of assigned monitoring tasks in line with the mandate /instructions given to the offshore team.Program Execution: Implement and oversee monitoring programs (e.g., control testing, policy compliance) as per defined procedures and templates. Ensure consistency, documentation quality, and adherence to timelines.Team Supervision: Lead centralized monitoring team professionals, providing clear task instructions, performance feedback, and support for issue resolution. Ensure team members are adequately trained and resourced.Time Zone Coordination: Work flexible hours to support collaboration with global stakeholders,Quality Assurance: Review deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with GRM standards. Address quality issues promptly and escalate where necessary.Roles & responsibilities:Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary offshore point of contact for GRM teams. Communicate progress, challenges, and updates regularly and clearly.Process Improvement: Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline workflows.Data Analytics and Dashboarding: Ability to work on or understand data analytic tools and dashboards to monitor key risk indicators, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging feedback, performance data, and benchmarking to refine monitoring methodologies and tools.Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong working relationships with other GRM teams and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.Reporting and Documentation: Oversee the creation of high-quality reports, deliverables, and documentation that clearly communicate monitoring findings, recommendations, and action plans.Upskilling and Knowledge Sharing: Foster a culture of learning by delivering training programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to develop the technical skill and competencies of team members.This role is for you if you have the belowWork experienceAt least 12-13 years of experience in risk management and/or external audit/internal audit within a professional services organizationSignificant experience working within Big 4 professional services firms is essentialGreat ability to understand and storyboard in the form of PowerPoint presentations,Ability to manage and build relationships with senior stakeholdersProven experience managing offshore or cross-border teams in a delivery-focused role.Strong understanding of internal controls, risk-based testing, and compliance monitoring.Educational qualifications CA (Chartered Accountant) or MBA required
