Job Title: Manufacturing Manager – Steel FabricationLocation: Saudi Arabia Employment Type: Full-time Industry: Steel Fabrication / Heavy Structural Engineering Reporting to: General Manager / Operations DirectorRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager with a strong background in steel fabrication to lead the manufacturing operations for our facility in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing fabrication workshops, strong knowledge of international and Saudi standards, and the ability to deliver high-quality structural steel products for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Workshop ManagementLead end-to-end production activities within the steel fabrication workshop.Plan fabrication schedules, manpower allocation, equipment utilization, and production targets.Ensure timely delivery of structural steel components according to project timelines.Oversee fabrication, welding, cutting, bending, fitting, and assembly processes.Compliance & QualityEnsure all production meets Saudi building codes, Aramco/SABIC/NEOM standards (if applicable), and international fabrication standards.Work closely with QA/QC to ensure inspections, welding tests, and material certifications meet project specifications.Implement corrective actions to address defects, delays, or non-conformities.Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)Enforce compliance with Saudi labor laws, company HSE policies, and industrial safety standards.Conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and ensure safe work practices inside the workshop.Promote a safety-first culture among all staff and subcontractors.Leadership & Team ManagementManage fabrication teams including supervisors, welders, fitters, machine operators, and helpers.Provide coaching, skill development, and support for multi-national workforce (India, Pakistan, Philippines, Egypt, Bangladesh, etc.).Conduct performance reviews and maintain discipline and productivity standards.Process Improvement & EfficiencyImplement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.Reduce material wastage, optimize workflow, and improve output efficiency.Recommend upgrades in machinery, automation, and equipment to enhance production capabilities.Coordination & CommunicationCoordinate with engineering, planning, procurement, logistics, and project management departments.Ensure availability of raw materials, consumables, and tools in line with project demand.Review fabrication drawings, MTOs, and BOQs to ensure accurate execution.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Minimum 7–12 years of experience in steel fabrication, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.Strong technical knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, MIG, TIG), structural steel codes, and workshop machinery.Experience in medium-to-large-scale fabrication projects: industrial plants, warehouses, oil & gas, infrastructure, or high-rise steel structures.Strong knowledge of GCC fabrication standards and project requirements.Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD reading, and ERP/manufacturing software.Preferred SkillsExperience working with Saudi Aramco, NEOM, SABIC, Royal Commission, or EPC contractors.Certification in welding inspection (CSWIP, AWS) is a strong advantage.Understanding of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 systems.Strong leadership, communication, and multicultural team management skills.Package & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Housing allowance / company accommodation.Transportation allowance / company transport.Yearly paid leave + airfare to home country.Medical insurance as per Saudi labor law.End-of-service benefits.
