Job Title: AD/Senior Manager- PMOLocation: BangaloreShift: 9 Am- 6 PM ISThttps://ascendion.com/ Role Overview:The Operations Leader will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end project operations, ensuring optimal resource utilization, cost efficiency, timely billing, and effective coordination between delivery, finance, and leadership teams. The role demands a proactive leader with strong analytical, operational, and stakeholder management skills to drive project performance and profitability.Key Responsibilities:1. Project Oversight & Operations ManagementOversee project operations across all phases to ensure seamless execution and delivery.Manage resource allocation and deallocation aligned with project demand and timelines.Track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.2. Efficiency & Performance ImprovementDrive operational efficiency through continuous monitoring and planning.Develop dashboards and reports for performance tracking and proactive planning.Identify process gaps and implement improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.3. Financial Tracking & Cost ManagementMonitor project financials, including cost projections versus actuals.Track and report operating costs, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals.Drive cost optimization initiatives to improve project profitability.4. Financial Governance & ReconciliationEnsure billing and contract renewals are completed accurately and on time.Maintain accurate records for audits and management reviews.5. Stakeholder Management & ReportingPrepare and present operational and financial reports to senior management, highlighting current status, risks, and forecasts.Conduct regular cadence meetings with leadership and project stakeholders.6. Issue Resolution & Risk ManagementProactively identify operational risks and implement mitigation plans.Primary escalation point for operational matters within the project and for timely resolution.Key Skills & Competencies:Strong understanding of project operations, financial governance, and resource management.Proficiency in project tracking tools and reporting dashboards.Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.Experience in driving cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives.Proactive approach with strong problem-solving orientation.Qualification & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).10+ years of experience in project operations, resource planning, or delivery governance roles within IT/Professional Services industry.Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-location projects.About Ascendion:Ascendion is a leading provider of AI-first software engineering services.
