About the Role:We’re seeking a proactive Associate General Manager to act as a strategic right hand to the Managing Director. This role blends hands-on operational execution with strategic oversight, driving collaboration across teams to ensure the company meets its business goals.You’ll be involved in everything from managing executive priorities to building sales structures, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and supporting key decisions that shape the company’s growth direction.What You’ll Do:1. Executive Support• Manage the GM’s day-to-day operations, including scheduling, document preparation, and data organization.• Coordinate meetings, prepare materials, and track action items to ensure timely follow-up.• Participate in management meetings and maintain proper documentation of key decisions.2. Sales Leadership & Operations• Build, lead, and monitor the performance of the sales team.• Support the setup of sales systems, KPIs, and reporting workflows.• Follow up on business tasks and ensure timely delivery of results.3. Cross-Department Coordination• Act as a bridge between departments to resolve issues and ensure operational alignment.• Support project execution and continuous process improvement.4. Stakeholder Management• Maintain smooth communication between internal teams and external partners.• Represent the GM in key discussions and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.5. Strategic & Special Projects• Support market research, business analysis, and strategy execution for new initiatives.• Assist in the preparation of business plans and project proposals.6. Team Development & Administration• Mentor and coach team members to build capability and engagement.• Manage company documents, contracts, and confidential records responsibly.Qualification:• Bachelor’s degree or above, with 5+ years of experience in executive support, operations, or management roles.• Strong organizational and communication skills in English, Chinese, and Malay (spoken and written).• Proven ability to work with senior leadership and manage multi-department coordination.• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis.• Valid driving license; willing to travel locally or overseas for business.• (Bonus) Prior experience in construction, building materials, civil engineering, or petrochemical industries.
