Job Description

I am assisting one Dublin's leading investment funds practices — a team I'd genuinely put at the top of the market right now - with the recruitment of a mid-level associate (3-5 years PQE). The work is genuinely varied. You'd be splitting your time across large US asset managers, Irish UCITS structures, and a growing private funds practice supporting dedicated private asset clients. The team is exceptional. Five partners in the Irish funds team, with a strong private assets side led by two well-regarded partners. You'd be working across all three — getting real client exposure early, not just being siloed on one stream. The team combines top-tier technical work with one of the strongest compensation structures in the Irish market. The RoleThis Associate will work across a broad investment funds practice, including:Irish UCITS and AIF structuringAdvising major US asset managers on Irish platformsPrivate asset and dedicated private fund launchesCross-border structuring (Ireland and other jurisdictions)Ongoing regulatory advisory (CBI engagement)The role offers the opportunity to work across both large, established US managers (blue-chip mandates) and private asset sponsors establishing Irish and European structures.Associates work closely with partners across the practice, with strong integration between public funds and private assets teams.Candidate ProfileEssential:3–5 years’ PQE in FundsStrong experience in UCITS and/or AIFMD structuresTraining from a recognised Irish, UK, or international firmNote: Candidates moving from in-house roles will be considered depending on breadth of private practice exposure.Compensation & ProgressionAmong the highest salary bands in the Dublin market at Associate level1,800 billable hour targetSubstantial, transparent hours-based bonusClear progression to Senior Associate at 5–6 PQE, and a partner structured pathway toward PartnershipReach out to Caitriona Breaw @ Amicus Search & Recruitment for a confidential phone call to discuss further.
