As we continue bringing our innovative approach to fast-growing companies across manufacturing, aerospace, logistics, and maritime, we are looking for an Associate IoT Field Engineer to join us on this exciting journey.This role is critical in deploying, managing, and optimizing our proprietary IoT hardware and AI-driven maintenance solutions at challenging sites, including manufacturing, shipping, oil & gas, and more. You will ensure that our field deployments operate smoothly, enabling uninterrupted data collection and analysis.As an Associate IoT Field Engineer, you will be the face of our company at client locations, responsible for installing our products and providing on-site support. We’ve secured strategic partnerships and government recognition for our work—now we’re scaling further, and we want you on board.Key ResponsibilitiesDeployment & Project CoordinationPlan and execute IoT hardware deployments tailored to client site requirements.Perform on-site installation and configuration of our software and hardware solutions.Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, Product, Sales) to ensure smooth installation, integration, and commissioning of devices.Infrastructure ManagementMaintain the stability and reliability of deployed IoT systems to ensure uninterrupted data flow.Monitor device performance, diagnose, and resolve technical issues proactively.Technical Support & TroubleshootingProvide on-site and hands-on technical support to resolve client hardware-related issues quickly.Train clients on product usage and maintenance best practices.Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime.Resource OptimizationEnsure deployments are efficiently done to meet project timelines and budgets.Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery and setup of materials.Document, administer, and improve SOPs for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Quality Assurance & ComplianceEnsure all deployments adhere to safety, quality, and industry standards.Revisit sites for routine maintenance checks and client follow-ups.Work with QA to validate device performance and system reliability.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company installation standardsReporting & DocumentationPrepare deployment reports, including resource usage, timelines, and technical outcomes.Document installation processes and client interactions in our CRM.Maintain detailed technical documentation for future reference and process improvements.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.Fresh graduates who are passionate about IoT hardware deployment and field engineering are welcome to apply.Proficient with at least one scripting or programming languageStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in IoT device setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.Familiarity with industrial sensors and communication protocols, including but not limited to HTTP, MQTT, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, and NTPSelf-driven and able to work independently and manage on-site responsibilities effectively.Strong communication skills in English.Excited about working onsite and traveling locally and internationally for deployments.Experience working with edge devices, gateways, and cloud integration.Bonus RequirementsCertifications in electrical, mechanical, or related fieldsPrevious internships in a client-facing roleStrong communication skills in an additional language such as Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Korean, or Arabic.Certifications in related WSQ and ISO standardsBenefitsCompetitive salary and Employee Stock Options.Guaranteed work on high-visibility projectsFlexible work arrangements for selected roles.Professional coaching and mentorship programs.Accelerated career progression and development opportunities.Performance benchmarked bonuses (not based on years of experience).Career accelerator fund and tuition reimbursement for relevant post-graduate degrees, education, and courses.
