Associate IT Business Analyst

Job OverviewThe Business Analyst serves as the key link between business stakeholders and the technical development team, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood, accurately documented, and effectively translated into functional solutions. This role is responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements, creating user stories, and collaborating closely with teams throughout the project lifecycle.The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of business processes, excellent analytical and communication skills, and hands-on experience in Agile methodologies. This role contributes significantly to delivering quality solutions that align with business objectives and organizational strategy.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements.Translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a shared understanding of business goals and product requirements.Maintain and groom the product backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined and prioritized for each sprint.Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, and review sessions.Create and manage documentation, including requirement specifications, process flow diagrams, and change logs.Work closely with developers, testers, and product owners to support smooth project execution and delivery.Analyze change requests, assess impacts, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.Help the team understand how the project fits within the larger organizational context and strategy.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.Proven experience working in an Agile development environment (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid).Familiarity with database management systems and data analysis tools is an advantage.Proficiency in or exposure to programming languages such as C#, Node.js, and/or Microservices implementation is a plus.Key Skills and CompetenciesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to translate technical details into business-friendly language.Team-oriented with a proactive, results-driven approach.Work setup: Hybrid (3x RTO)Shift: Day ShiftLocation: BGC, TaguigSalary: Open to discuss depending on the career level and experience
