Your core responsibilities will also include vital contractual work both as drafting and review counsel, whether you are to ensure legal accuracy and linguistic precision.Supported by your team at every step, you will find the work both challenging and rewarding, with excellent opportunities for learning and professional development.Duties and Accountabilities1DutiesOur practice covers a full range of banking (debt finance generally, acquisition finance, fund finance, real estate finance, restructuring and enforcement of security interests) and capital markets transactions (securitisations, securities laws, structured finance, derivatives, corporate debt issuances and listings). Within this context, duties and accountabilities include: Conducting research and analysis, drafting of legal memorandaDrafting of agreements and all types of other documents and various statementsDrafting of filings addressed to regulatorsCommunication with clients (via phone, e-mail)Providing direct assistance to partner on matters arising in the course of day-to-day provision of legal services to leading international and domestic corporate clientsJoining educational seminar and practice groupsJoining local and international industry bodiesDeveloping relationships with domestic and international clientsCommunicating with Luxembourg and foreign authorities, preparing forms, and serving noticeQualifications3 to 6 years of experience in a banking transactional and/or capital markets transactional and/or regulatory practice in LuxembourgCommercial and business awarenessStrong academic record and intellectual curiosity, creative thinkerAbility to see the big pictureOutstanding communication and negotiation skillsStrong time management skills, ability to stay calm under pressure when juggling multiple projectsExcellent drafting skillsDriven by professional growthStrong professional presenceClient service focusTeam playerStrong judgmentProactive, resourceful, takes initiativeLong-term interest in developing in the FirmFluency in English.
