This role is critical in ensuring compliance with local regulations (CSSF, AIFMD, etc.) and aligning with Group-wide policies. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational, regulatory, and financial risks, while contributing to strategic decision-making and promoting a strong risk culture across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesRisk Framework Implementation: Ensure full compliance with Group Risk Management policies and local regulatory requirementsOperational Risk Management: Identify, assess, mitigate, and report operational risks to protect organizational stabilityControl Effectiveness: Conduct regular evaluations of controls and update risk registers to reflect emerging threatsStrategic Support: Provide risk analysis and recommendations to the Business Review Committee and support new product initiativesRisk Reporting: Deliver timely and accurate reports on financial and non-financial risks using the Apex Group Risk FrameworkRisk Monitoring: Develop and track key risk indicators to enable proactive risk managementBusiness Continuity: Lead Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to ensure operational resilienceThird-Party Oversight: Monitor and manage risks related to outsourced activities and third-party providersRisk Culture Development: Promote risk awareness and deliver targeted training across the organizationQualifications & SkillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 8 years of experience in risk management or financial services; ERM or fund services expertise preferredStrong knowledge of risk frameworks and product risk assessmentExperience with digital assets is a plusExcellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skillsProven ability to lead in a high-control, compliance-driven environmentFamiliarity with Luxembourg laws and regulations is desirableProfessional certifications such as FRM or CFA are advantageousIn accordance with the provisions of the Luxembourg law of 23 July 2016 amending the law of 29 March 2013, candidates may be required to provide an extract from their criminal record.
