Job Title: Associate, Performance AnalyticsDepartment: Investment AdministrationReports To: Vice President, Performance AnalyticsFLSA Code: Non-ExemptEstimated Salary: $80,000 - $85,000Job Summary:The Investment Performance team is responsible for all performance-related matters within the firm. This includes, but is not limited to, execution and communication of: calculating performance across all investment products, attribution analysis, competitor analysis, risk statistics, and portfolio characteristics. Cohen & Steers is committed to an inclusive culture, valuing diversity in support of our people and clients.Major Responsibilities/Activities:Monitor and review benchmark and portfolio data qualityAssist in preparation of portfolio attribution analysis and interpretationTroubleshoot monthly preliminary and final returns for all accounts. Monitor data integrity on a daily basis.Review and maintain firm-wide security level classificationsRun internal daily performance reports; support the implementation and process for automation and quality improvement of reportsAssist in monthly composite returns and research into causes of dispersionResearch, build and analyze appropriate competitor peer groupsRun internal daily fund information and rankings reportPrepare materials for corporate and fund board meetingsWork closely with manager on the continuing automation and centralization of performance attribution reporting.Assist retail, institutional and portfolio management groups with performance-related requests and special projects as needed.Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college1+years of related experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advance functions of Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication skillsStrong data management and quantitative skillsIdeally have mutual funds and separate accounts performance calculation experienceFamiliarity with Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, Sim Corp Dimension, Factset and BiSam Attribution is a big plusWorking knowledge of performance and attribution analysis, and relative risk statistics is highly desirableDemonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectivesIs able to abide by the firm’s hybrid work arrangement policy in New York City office (4 days in-office/1 day remote)Note: This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
