More information at https://halosleep.com.Title: Associate Manager, Quality Assurance Reports to: Quality Assurance EngineerPrimary Location: New York Metropolitan Area (hybrid)Position Summary The Associate Manager of Quality Assurance plays a key role in upholding Halo Dream Inc.’s commitment to product excellence and safety. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a dynamic quality organization, working alongside the Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen testing programs, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple product categories.What You’ll Be Doing: Champion safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all product lines and global markets in alignment with Halo Dream’s mission and strategic objectives.Develop a strong understanding of product-specific testing requirements and manage coordination with suppliers and third-party labs.Review and approve lab testing quotes while tracking and optimizing testing costs within the department budget.Oversee generation and maintenance of CPCs, lab reports, and regulatory documentation in preparation for the CPSC e-filing system and other global import requirements.Support quality systems for both softgoods and hardgoods, ensuring timely testing and compliance for new and existing products.Assist in factory audits, Qarma quality software management, and other digital quality tools to enhance efficiency.Maintain PP/ TOP sample showroom in NYC by means of organization and sample measurement.Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, support reporting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners, including suppliers, retailers, and product development, sales teams and customer service. Contribute ideas and solutions to strengthen Halo Dream’s QA processes, embracing opportunities to learn and taking on greater responsibility within the department.What We’re Looking For:Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (equivalent experience considered).Experience: Minimum 3 years of corporate QA experience, preferably within juvenile products, consumer goods, or related industries.Hands-on experience with product testing, third-party lab coordination, and report review.Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015), root cause analysis (RCA), corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and change control (ECN).Understanding of manufacturing techniques in textiles/apparel, plastics, furniture, and/or electro-mechanical devices.Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (ASTM, CEN, ISO, FDA, CFR) and labeling standards across global markets.Tech savviness: Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Qarma or other quality system software a plus. The base salary hiring range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000, but the final compensation offer will ultimately be based on the candidate's location, skill level and experience.
