Atmospheric Reentry Specialist

Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Atmospheric Reentry Specialist based in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area. The specialist will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing reentry vehicle systems and flight dynamics. Day-to-day duties include conducting in-depth research on reentry physics, developing simulation models, analyzing flight data, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for mission success. The individual will also ensure the compliance of reentry systems with safety and performance standards and contribute to mission-critical decision-making processes.QualificationsStrong background in Aerodynamics, Astrodynamics, and Flight DynamicsProficiency in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), modeling, and simulation toolsExperience with Material Science and Thermal Protection Systems (TPS) in high-temperature environmentsUnderstanding of aerospace engineering principles and atmospheric reentry physicsProven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teamsAdvanced written and verbal communication skillsMaster's or higher degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fieldExperience in spacecraft reentry technologies and prior involvement in aerospace missions is a plus
