When an officer-involved shooting happens at 2 AM, we're the first call. When careers hang in the balance, we're the shield.𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:* Respond to critical incidents and officer-involved matters * Conduct officer interviews and provide real-time legal guidance at scene call-outs* Represent officers in administrative hearings, internal affairs investigations, and disciplinary proceedings* Handle criminal defense matters for law enforcement personnel* Manage family law cases affecting officers' careers and clearances* Prepare Skelly responses, appeals, and writs* Attend Police Officers Bill of Rights hearings𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠:✅ Active California Bar membership✅ Criminal law and/or administrative law experience✅ Exceptional judgment under pressure✅ Experience with law enforcement matters (preferred)✅ Understanding of a POBR, Skelly, and administrative proceedings✅ Trial experience (criminal or administrative)𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞:Former prosecutor, JAG attorney, or someone with police practices experience who understands the unique challenges officers face.
