Warren Averett is seeking an experienced auditor for our Atlanta office. The ideal candidate will possess or be eligible for their CPA and have between 1 and 2 years of experience. Responsibilities Complete assigned sections of audits including but not limited to cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventory for clients in various industries. Assist with drafting financial statements. Assist team members with other duties as assigned. Participate with more experienced personnel in coordinating large client engagements, identification of problems, process improvements and computer model analysis and helping clients determine optimal strategies. Maintain quality client relationships. Develop skills to attract new clients and market the company’s services and products and facilitate expansion of business with existing clients. Minimum Requirements Must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university. Must possess or be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the state of your assigned office location. Must meet minimal educational requirements for CPA licensure (which may differ from the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam) in the state of your assigned office location prior to beginning full-time regular employment. Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and generally accepted auditing standards as defined in literature. An awareness of current trends in the accounting profession The ability to communicate, both verbally and written, clearly and effectively Professional appearance in attitude, dress, poise, and conduct A strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Develop proficiency in use of software utilized by the Firm.
