Profile RLG Systems Canada Inc. (RLG) is seeking an Audit Transportation Specialist to fill our compliance solutions needs, focusing on supporting the implementation and operation of Ontario’s future Blue Box program. The position is a permanent, full-time role reporting to our Brampton location with the following hours:6:30 am – 4:30 pmThis position reports to the Manager, CCS Audit and Logistics Operations, and will work closely with the Supervisor and Team Lead to ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of auditing supplies, including the receipt and collection of audit samples composed of blue box materials.Job DescriptionAs Audit Transportation Specialist, you will carry out the following duties in order to assist with the planning, coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of the Blue Box Program in Ontario.Key Tasks IncludeWork alongside the Supervisor / Team Lead collaborating on the audit sample scheduleOperate a 26ft commercial box truck collecting audit samples in super sacs across OntarioComplete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and other documentation requested by Supervisor dailyCommunicate vehicle mechanical problems to the Supervisor immediatelyMaintain route quality standards as predetermined by managementFollow all safety standards, vehicle checks, and precautions in the performance of all dutiesComply with all company rules on safety and vehicle operation including any required Recycling Facility (RF) specific rules or regulations.Communicate any potential hazards in delivering/picking up sacs to the Supervisor before performing taskMaintain clean vehicle by cleaning cab interior and exteriorReport all accidents or incidents to the Supervisor immediatelyExhibit a professional demeanor, manner, and appearance at all timesEnsure that all required personal protective equipment be worn (i.e., gloves, reflective vest, safety glasses, work boots, etc.)May be required to work overtimePerform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by managementYour Knowledge And ExperienceHighly organized with attention to detailExcellent communications skills both written and verbalHave basic understanding of routing and logisticsMust have experience driving a 26ft commercial box truckMust have an understanding of Hours of ServiceMust be familiar with pre and post trip inspectionsRequirementsPossess a valid G – Class License with a clean abstract Minimum one (1) year of Commercial driving experienceMust be able to demonstrate the ability to safely drive the truck and operate the equipment (ie. pallet jack)What To ExpectComprehensive employer-paid health and dental benefits from day 1Employer matching of employee RSP contributionRLG is supportive of professional development and training, with opportunities to work globallyRLG has a dynamic and international working environment: thirty-nine nationalities with diverse backgroundsTech-enabled processesShould you require accommodation or support in any aspect of our recruitment and selection process, we will work with you to meet your needs.Accessibility And InclusionRLG Systems Canada is committed to creating a diverse, accessible, and inclusive workplace.
