Job Description
I. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Performs daily audit of Cage, Table Games, Electronic Gaming Machine and Marketing transactionsCollects all documents relevant to audit to ensure that all transactions and reports can be substantiated with actual documents or referencesPrepares reports which includes, but not limited to, liability, accruals, cash clearing, etc., by gathering data from documents collected and system reportsPrepares table games and electronic gaming machines daily flash reports by performing revenue reconciliation to ensure accurate recording of revenues and gaming taxes/license feesPerforms checks on promotional activities by reviewing qualifications and PAGCOR approved forms to determine if the actual execution of promotions and awarding of prizes are aligned with the implementing rules and guidelinesObserves soft count procedures by witnessing daily cash count of table games and electronic gaming machines bill dropIssues audit exception report by summarizing the findings noted as they occur and addressing it to the personnel involvedPerforms stress test of electronic gaming machines by witnessing test transactions together with PAGCOR and gaming operations personnelPerforms monthly and/or unscheduled inventory checks by witnessing actual count by cage personnel of cash, cash equivalents and chips, as well as, occasionally performing count of promotional vouchers, etc.Assists internal/ external auditors and other relevant stakeholders by providing them with requested documents to ensure timely completion of the auditPerforms other job related duties assigned by the managementII. JOB SPECIFICATIONSEducational RequirementBachelor's Degree in Accounting or business related courseCPA or other certification is an advantageExperience RequirementsAt least 2 years’ experience in Financial and Operations Audit and/or AccountingSkills and AttributesProficient in Microsoft Office ApplicationExposure in in-house or back office systems is an advantageMaintain high degree of integrity while handling sensitive and confidential situations.Demonstrate a high level of initiative, respond to team members requests and anticipate the needs of co-workersAdaptable and able to work with minimal supervisionAbility to communicate or handle queries of operationsAbility to convey technical information to non-technical audiences
