They create internal risk management and compliance processes, and make sure they’re running efficiently.We’re looking for a Finance & Financial Risk Auditor to deliver high-quality audits across finance, treasury, operations and risk areas. You’ll be reviewing financial statements, assessing controls, and identifying improvements to ensure compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.Up to shape what’s next in finance? Let’s get in touch.What you'll be doingIdentifying control gaps and improvement areas in finance and treasury processesReviewing and validating financial statements and reportsPerforming data analysis to investigate anomalies or outliersConducting financial audits, delivering 2+ audits in a 6-month periodPreparing audit findings and agreeing actions with stakeholdersSupporting internal audit planning and executionRunning annual risk assessments for assigned entitiesEnsuring compliance with local regulatory frameworks in MexicoCollaborating with cross-functional teams, such as Finance, Treasury, and OperationsStaying informed on accounting standards and best practicesWhat you'll need3+ years of experience in financial or internal auditA solid understanding of accounting, finance processes, and financial controlsFamiliarity with regulatory requirements in MexicoAnalytical skills to interpret and validate financial dataGreat attention to detailFluency in English and Spanish with excellent communication skillsThe ability to work effectively across multiple teamsNice to haveExposure to treasury or financial risk topics, such as liquidity, capital adequacy, or FX riskKnowledge of Basel frameworks or ICAAP/ILAAPKnowledge of CCL and CFEN indicator calculationA background in internal/external audit or financial statement reviewPrevious involvement in risk assessments or audit planningExperience in a Big 4, banking, or fintech environmentBuilding a global financial super app isn’t enough.
