Great Career Opportunity!At Morgan Philips Specialist Recruitment Mexico, we are seeking a Finance Controller for an international leader in telemetry and geolocation, based in Mexico City, with highly relevant operations and global reach.Role PurposeEnsure financial discipline and operational efficiency through hands-on leadership in accounting, tax, and reporting. Reports to the Chief Finance Manager; interprets financial performance, strengthens internal controls, and ensures compliance with local and international standards (US GAAP, IFRS, NIF). High-impact role focused on process optimization, audit management, and supporting decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct support to the Finance leader in daily and strategic activities.Prepare and analyze financial statements, tax reports, and management reports (corporate/authorities).Ensure compliance with internal, external, governmental, and corporate audits.Oversee reconciliations and monitor Treasury, Investments, Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Administration.Design and strengthen tax and accounting strategic plans; identify/mitigate risks.Monitor internal controls and accounting protocols (incl. SOX).Perform tax analyses, annual reports, and tax opinions.Ensure alignment with US GAAP / IFRS / NIF and local regulatory requirements.Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve queries and optimize processes.Required Skills & KnowledgeSolid understanding of accounting principles and financial management.Mastery of tax planning, legislation, and tax formalities.Familiarity with foreign trade, customs, and billing processes.Proficiency with US GAAP, NIF, IFRS, and local financial standards.Master’s or Doctorate in Finance or Financial/Administrative Management (preferred).Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance (required).Minimum 5 years of experience as a Controller or Financial Analyst.Intermediate–advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.Advanced English.SOX experience.Experience in companies listed on the Stock Exchange.Experience working with SAP.Core CompetenciesAnalytical thinking and problem-solving.Attention to detail and organization.Leadership and decision-making.Active listening and customer orientation.Ability to work under pressure and meet objectives.Effective communication and teamwork.If you have experience strengthening controls, compliance, and reporting in high-standards environments—and you’re excited to optimize processes and raise the quality of financial information—this role is for you.Apply now and help us drive financial excellence and talent development!#FinanceController #MorganPhilips #MPSR #CareerOpportunity
