Job Description

This role is ideal for someone coming from a mid-tier or smaller practice background, who enjoys working closely with owner-managed and medium-sized businesses across a range of sectors.You’ll join a collaborative, hands-on team where your experience will be valued!The role is based in South City Center. This role will involved audit of medium sized clients across a variety of industries and accounts preparation.Key Responsibilities:Plan and review audit and audit exempt activities across multiple assignments.Draft high-quality, financial statements and audit reports that include practical recommendations to address all risk issues and control weaknesses identified during the assignment, with a clear supporting rationale.Work on multiple audit assignments concurrently and ensure the most effective and efficient use of time and resources at all times.Liaise closely and build effective working relationships with client staff in all disciplines (tax, accounting and audit) to facilitate and support the audit process.Deliver audit assignments to a high standard of quality, ensuring conformance with FRS102 and Irish GAAP, addressing key risks effectively and adhering to allotted timescales, budgets and resource allocation.Manage the day-to-day supervision, on-the-job training and mentoring of junior staff allocated to audit assignment.Job Requirements:Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA candidates is a necessity.3+ years' experience of working in an audit environment in a small/medium practiceProven ability to work on a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors and tasks at any one time.Strong analytical and mathematical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Reliability٫ productivity٫ and attention to detailBenefits:Excellent package on offerHybrid working model after probation
