Winthrop Technologies is a dedicated data centre delivery partner providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe.Winthrop specialises in providing turnkey data centre solutions, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning.Winthrop has grown to become the leading and most trusted company in our sector and is the only dedicated Data Centre delivery partner in Europe.We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.We are pleased to announce we are currently seeking an Authorised Person to join our expanding team in Helsinki, FinlanRequirementsEngages from early in the project with Site Management team with the agreed Electrical Safe Systems of Work Procedure under the instruction from the Lead Appointed PersonEnsures all Workplace personnel are aware of and are complying with the Electrical Safe Systems of WorkIssues and controls Permits for all Energised working activities under scope of workTo review and understand project specifications and drawings fully and extract the project specific requirementsFollow Strict Operational Procedures and Adhere to High Voltage Safety RulesInterpretation of basic electrical protection under fault conditionsCompletes Safety documents and lock out/tag out procedures and philosophiesCarry out review of Switchgear Distribution Topology and Controls prior to start-upSupport / liaise with specialist Testing & Commissioning contractors to carry out early reviews and agree commissioning sequences and test scriptsLiaise with Control System providers (Scada/BMS/EMS etc.) in the development of the system handover under permit control schedule and protocolsSkills & Qualifications: Relevant 3rd level certificates in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or an Electrical Trade with relevant training and experienceMinimum of 5+ Years' experience in a similar role within an electrical contracting environment, experienced in Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projectsExperience of working on MV/HV systems. ‘Authorised Person or Appointed Person' experiencePreferably level S1 i.e. able to work on any voltage or S2 which is up to 1000VElectrical Testing & Verification with min 3 years' experienceHV Switching Tickets Process driven and focuses on EHS and Quality Work Management Systems and ProcessesBenefitsWork for a market leader delivering turnkey data centre projectsCollaborative working environmentSupportive career and fast-track developmentCompetitive salaries and a rotational rosterWinthrop Technologies Ltd are an equal opportunities employer
