In this pivotal role, you are tasked with coordinating, managing, and executing a range of 1st level proactive and reactive maintenance activities. With your expertise at our fore, we aim to continuously provide services that adhere to the Service Level Agreements (SLA) and ensure optimal customer satisfaction.At Mobile Financial Services (MFS), we use technology to drive financial inclusion and create real social impact. Our systems support hundreds of millions of users daily through services like peer-to-peer transfers, payments, disbursements, loans, and savings.The Ericsson Wallet Platform enables operators and banks to offer secure and reliable mobile financial services, meeting the highest standards of integration, customization, and operations. Across the Middle East and Africa, we are expanding our MFS capabilities to better serve our customers. Together, we build solutions that empower millions across Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America—bringing financial freedom to people worldwide.What you will do: Coordinate, support, manage, and execute 1st Level proactive and reactive maintenance activities. Ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Perform continuous resource and service status monitoring to proactively detect possible failures and take action to ensure 1st level restoration and repair. Own and maintain automated preventive maintenance rules or scripts. Perform 1st Level Service Monitoring and Event Management. Manage 1st Level Incident Management. Provide critical Incident Management support. Track the escalation management process. Record, investigate, diagnose, and report day-to-day incidents. Perform application correction and conditioning tasks. Be part of a 24/7 team for monitoring and issue resolution.The skills you bring: Degree in Software Engineering or a related field. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a technical operations, support, or similar role. Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems. Scripting experience (e.g., Python, Ansible). Knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of service operations (problem, event, and incident management). Experience in IT application environment handling and service delivery as per SLAs. Knowledge of ITIL processes is an advantage. Experience with Ericsson or other e-wallet vendor mobile platforms is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on innovation and adaptability.
