It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.If you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!Key ResponsibilitiesAutomation Development: Design, develop, and implement automation systems and tools to streamline manufacturing and testing processes, minimizing human error and repetitive manual operations.Process Optimization: Collaborate with process engineers to identify improvement opportunities and automate high-impact steps in MEMS, optical, or semiconductor assembly processes.Test Automation: Develop automated test scripts, data acquisition routines, and analysis frameworks for both in-line and functional testing systems.Software Integration: Build and maintain automation software that interfaces with production equipment, vision systems, and test instruments using Python, LabVIEW, or equivalent languages.Equipment Control & Data Handling: Develop communication interfaces (e.g., RS232, GPIB, Ethernet) and data pipelines between machines, sensors, and factory databases to support real-time monitoring and traceability.Error Reduction & Reliability: Implement fail-safe logic, error detection algorithms, and self-diagnostic functions within automation systems to enhance reliability and repeatability.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with process, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure automation solutions meet operational, quality, and safety standards.Documentation & Standardization: Prepare clear technical documentation including system design, flowcharts, user manuals, and validation reports. Standardize automation solutions for scalability across multiple lines or products.Continuous Improvement: Stay current with new automation technologies, software tools, and best practices to continuously enhance production efficiency and system robustness.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Computer, or Automation Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in process or test automation within a manufacturing or R&D environment.Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, C#, LabVIEW, or Visual Basic.Hands-on experience integrating sensors, robot, motion controllers, PLCs, or vision systems.Knowledge of data acquisition, signal processing, and control system design.Familiarity with semiconductor, MEMS, or optical assembly processes is a strong advantage.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on process reliability and error-proofing (Poka-Yoke).Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.Excited to automate the future?We’re looking for an engineer who’s passionate about building automation solutions that make precision manufacturing smarter, faster, and more reliable.If you enjoy combining software, hardware, and process know-how to create innovative automated systems — this role is for you!We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
