All of the products and services that we offer are integral to the increasingly complex digital world in which we live, providing power and connectivity from the most common household items to the most complex medical equipment.Job Role / Job OverviewAssist engineers in performing equipment debug, set up and maintenance activities for automated machines. Ensure all machines operate in good condition, with minimal downtime and consistent performanceKey Responsibilities: Perform troubleshooting on mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical faults Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks Replace, calibrate, or adjust sensors, actuators, and control components as needed Assist in machine modification, part replacement, and documentation updates Monitor machine operation on the production floor and respond promptly to issues Maintain daily maintenance reports and spare part inventory Follow EHS and 5S standards during all maintenance workRequirements:Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering 2-3 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance or debug for automated systems Familiar with PLC, HMI, pneumatic, servo system, and sensors Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Must be able to work in shift rotation and provide on-call support when needed.Soft SkillsProblem-solving mindset with attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Work EnvironmentShop floor-based with regular shop floor visits.May require overtime during critical project phases.LanguagesFluency in English would be a plusEqual Opportunity StatementVolex is committed to upholding fair, inclusive, and non-discriminatory employment practices.
