Aviation Safety Coordinator

Jandakot Airport Holdings is seeking to employ a friendly, reliable and knowledgeable Safety Coordinator with strong interpersonal and communication skills in a key supporting role at the airport.Reporting to and assisting the Safety Manager, this position offers full time with the potential for a part time working arrangement, flexible hours and a friendly, rewarding work environment for the right candidate.The position offers exposure to a wide variety of safety management disciplines, with the primary focus being the day-to-day management and coordination of the airport’s safety management system, training and internal/external safety auditing.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with daily SMS coordination activities, reporting, and investigationsSupport internal and external safety audits and risk management activitiesSchedule training and facilitate training coursesMaintain training records, safety records, and staff/contractor inductionsPromote a positive safety culture and support emergency preparednessEnsure compliance with CASA, WHS WA, and other relevant regulationsAbout YouQualification in WHSExperience with safety or risk management systems (aviation preferred)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and report writingCurrent driver’s licence and ability to pass CASA Part 99 drug & alcohol screening and pre-employment medicalDesirable:Auditing or Lead Auditor qualification/experienceCertificate IV Training and Assessment (or willing to obtain)Technical aviation backgroundFire Warden or First Aid training (or willing to obtain).If you’re safety-focused, proactive, and ready to grow your career, we’d love to hear from you.Apply now with your CV and cover letter.
