iRocket is scaling its autonomous launcher capabilities, and we're looking for an Avionics Engineer to design, integrate, and verify guidance, navigation, control, and flight-software systems for our reusable launch vehicles.The RoleDesign and integrate avionics architectures: flight computers, sensors, guid-nav-control, actuation subsystems, and vehicle communication systemsProduce schematics, PCB layouts, thermal/mechanical analysis, and firmware/FPGA integration where applicablePerform system-level verification: hardware-in-loop, software-in-loop, vibration/thermal/EMI testing, and flight-qualificationWork with software, propulsion, structures, and systems teams to close requirements and flight readinessMaintain documentation: requirements, verification plans, traceability, and anomaly reportsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical, Aerospace, or Computer Engineering3+ years of avionics or embedded systems engineering in aerospace, defense, or complex systems environmentExperience with PCB design, signal conditioning, sensor integration, flight-software verification, and test systemsKnowledge of guidance/navigation/control algorithms, FPGA/embedded firmware, and hardware validationStrong problem-solving and systems-thinking skills; ability to lead integration and verification in a startup settingBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity)Short Term & Long Term DisabilityWellness Resources
