AVP, KYC Officer

I hope you’re doing well. My client, an international bank based in Midtown Manhattan, is seeking to add an AVP, KYC Officer to their team. This position reports directly to the FID Head and is a full-time, in-office role. Responsibilities:Maintain a strong understanding of the Bank’s KYC program requirements and related regulatory expectations.Review FID KYC policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and branch-level requirements; recommend updates as needed.Liaise with Compliance to ensure FID KYC procedures align with internal and regulatory expectations.Provide clear guidance to business units and Relationship Managers (RMs) on KYC policies and procedures.Design and implement effective KYC controls within FID to ensure adherence to AML/CFT requirements.Establish key risk indicators (KRIs) and quality standards for KYC execution and documentation.Develop and deliver KYC-related training to FID staff to promote awareness and compliance with AML/CFT obligations.
