This position is with one of our clients in Sofia, Bulgaria who is actively hiring candidates to expand their teams.Role: AWS Technology Lead Employment Type: Permanent EmploymentLocation: Sofia, BulgariaWork setting: Hybrid (2-3 days to office/week)Location – Bulgaria (Sofia 2-3days onsite/week)Your ideal professional background should look like:Relevant experience 5+ yearsAWS S3 - Experience in using Buckets, Versioning, S3 event triggersAWS Glue – Experience in building Jobs, External Libraries, Glue Catalog, Triggers, CrawlersAWS Redshift/Snowflake – Good understanding of Sort and Dist keys, external tables, table design, Hash keysAWS Cloudwatch, EventBridge, Athena – Familiar with Cloudwatch logs, EventBridge rules, Data querying via AthenaAWS Lambda- Experience in building Lambda functions and setting up Lambda Triggers, LayersDevOps - Familiar with CICD concepts, Code repository, Jenkins, IaCs (like CloudFormation)Programming Skills - Python: Proficiency in using Python for data processing, Understanding of different libraries - Spark : Proficiency in using Spark SQL for data processing and using DataFrames for data manipulationsSQL: Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries (Subqueries, Nested Queries, CTEs, Windows function, Aggregation)Data Lake, DWH and ETL concepts : Understanding of Data lake, DWH Concepts like Star schema & SCD Types, ETL conceptsData Modeling : Good understanding of data modeling principlesBig Data : Minimum 2 years of Databricks experienceSoft Skills: problem solving, communication and collaboration skillsNote: Applicants for employment in Sofia, Bulgaria should possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa
