DescriptionThe full-time starting salary is normally £32,006.00 per annum, with progression available in post to £35,331.00 per annum. Do you have a flair for producing high quality content that connects with business audiences? If so, Birmingham City University is looking for you to join our growing Brand and Creative Marketing team as a B2B Content Officer.About The RoleIn this exciting new role, you’ll help raise the university’s profile with employers, industry partners, and external stakeholders by creating compelling written, visual and multimedia content.Working closely with colleagues across Business Engagement, Enterprise, and Marketing, you’ll play a key part in promoting our business facing services, from CPD and consultancy to facilities hire, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships, and STEAMhouse.In This Role, You WillResearch, write, and edit engaging content such as case studies, web pages, social media posts, email campaigns, and brochures.Translate technical or academic information into clear, accessible language tailored for business audiences.Support the delivery of targeted content campaigns that generate leads and promote commercial activity.Capture and create photography and video content that showcases our people, partnerships, and projects.Maintain and update business-facing web content, applying best practice in SEO and digital accessibility.Gather testimonials and feedback from clients and partners to strengthen our storytelling.Track and report on content performance, using analytics tools (including GA4) to measure success and improve impact.About YouYou’ll bring:Experience producing content for professional or business audiences across a range of formats and platforms.Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a sharp eye for detail and tone.Hands-on skills in multimedia production, including photography, videography, and social media.Familiarity with content management systems, analytics tools, and basic HTML editing.The ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work collaboratively across teams.Why not take a look on the interactive map that shows the facilities across campus.Come and be a part of the team.Please click the below link to download the Job Description:Job DescriptionThe appointed candidate will normally be employed through our subsidiary company BCU Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Birmingham City University. Appointees with prior LGPS membership who wish to enter the LGPS scheme will be able to do so, and will be employed by Birmingham City University directly.
