B2THEWORLD is seeking three dynamic and dedicated Heads of School to lead our 2 partner primary and 1 secondary partner schools, in Aweil-NBEG, in South Sudan. POSITION SUMMARYThe Head of School is the chief executive and educational leader of the B2THEWORLD partner school, responsible for its overall strategic direction, operational management, and the quality of its educational programs. This critical role requires a dynamic and visionary leader who will embody and champion B2THEWORLD's core values, mission, and vision, ensuring the school provides a transformative Christian education from Nursery to Grade 12. The Head of School will foster academic excellence, spiritual development, and community engagement while diligently leading the school towards full compliance with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Inspire Standards.

This role demands deep expertise in the South Sudanese national education system and curriculum. II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESA. Strategic Leadership & Vision Alignment: Lead the development and implementation of the school's strategic plan in alignment with B2THEWORLD's vision, mission, and core valuesArticulate and champion the school's vision and purpose to all stakeholders, fostering a strong sense of community and shared commitment. Ensure the school's programs and culture reflect a strong Christian worldview and principles. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of education and school operations. B. Academic Program & Curriculum Oversight:

Provide visionary leadership for the academic program, ensuring pedagogical excellence and innovation across all levels. Oversee the effective implementation and adaptation of the South Sudanese National Curriculum. Ensure alignment of curriculum, instruction, and assessment with ACSI Inspire Standards. Monitor student academic progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance learning outcomes. Champion the "Pedagogical Approach of Why," encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and deep understanding among students and staff. Promote a "School-wide Focus on Play" as a foundational element of learning and development, particularly in early years and integrated throughout the curriculum where appropriate.

Deploy an academic and extra-curricular program that emphasizes Global leadership that empowers students to be self-driven in taking initiative to transform their communities, cities, and nations. C. Spiritual & Character Development: Cultivate a vibrant and nurturing Christian environment that supports the spiritual growth and character development of students and staff. Integrate Christian principles and values into all aspects of school life, including curriculum, activities, and daily interactions. Serve as a spiritual role model for the school community. D. Staff Leadership & Development: Recruit, retain, and develop high-quality, mission-aligned faculty and staff.

Provide effective supervision, mentorship, and performance evaluation for all school personnel. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages professional growth, innovation, and shared responsibility. Lead professional development initiatives, particularly those related to transformative education, global leadership, and the ACSI Inspire Standards. E. Operational & Financial Management: Oversee the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring a safe, secure, and conducive learning environment. Manage the school budget responsibly, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability. Ensure compliance with all relevant South Sudanese educational regulations and B2THEWORLD policies. Oversee facility management and resource allocation. F. Community & Stakeholder Engagement:

Build strong, positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider community, fostering open communication and partnership. Represent the school within local educational networks and relevant professional associations. Act as a primary liaison between the school and B2THEWORLD, regularly reporting to the Country Coordinator. Promote the school's mission and achievements within the community. G. Compliance & Accreditation: Develop solid systems and processes that will ensure that the school meets and exceeds the national standards of education as documented by the Ministry of General Education and Instruction in South Sudan.

Lead the school's efforts to achieve and maintain full compliance with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) Inspire Standards, including participation in accreditation processes. Ensure all school policies and practices adhere to the Ministry of General Education and Instruction and ACSI guidelines and best practices for Christian education. III. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEA. Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field from a recognized institution. A master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field is highly preferred. ACSI certification or willingness to obtain ACSI certification is a significant asset.

Familiarity with the B2THEWORLD’s Transformative Education Pillars is an added advantage. Professional certifications in Leadership, Team building, Curriculum Implementation, and Coaching are all added advantages. B. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in an educational setting, with demonstrated experience in school administration. Prior experience as a Head of School, Principal, or Vice-Principal in a Christian or international school environment is highly desirable. Proven experience working within the South Sudanese National Curriculum framework (primary and secondary) is highly preferred. Experience in strategic planning, budget management, and staff development.

Experience with or strong understanding of Christian educational principles and faith-based school operations. C. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential. Knowledge of local languages spoken in South Sudan (e. g. , Juba Arabic, Dinka, Nuer, etc. ) is a significant asset and highly valued for community engagement. Deep Curriculum Expertise: Thorough knowledge and understanding of the South Sudanese National Curriculum, including examination systems and pedagogical approaches from Nursery to Grade 12. Leadership & Management: Strong leadership, organizational, and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students. Strategic Thinking:

Ability to develop and execute strategic plans, anticipate challenges, and implement effective solutions. Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders. Cultural Competence: Demonstrated understanding and appreciation of South Sudanese culture and educational context. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity for sound decision-making under pressure. Technology Proficiency: Proficient in educational technology and standard office software. Commitment to Christian Education: A personal and demonstrated commitment to Christian faith and its integration into educational practice.
