Backend Engineer

Your impact on GoGift’s journey:You will be a key player in our dev team with skilled and experienced engineers, UX/UI designer and dev ops. You will report to the Director of Tech and Development.As an Senior Backend Engineer, we expect you will take responsibility for implementing tasks of medium to high complexity, actively contributing to our software architecture. Your main tasks will be to design and develop new features, maintain the existing products and optimize workflows based on feedback from different stakeholders.You will…Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and architect scalable and maintainable backend systems.Contribute to the development of backend components and services.Assist in improving our architecture and the reduction of technical debtDrive and contribute to new initiatives and projects; front-end, back-end, internal and external API’s.Bring new ideas to the table to help us improve – either through code, processes or something entirely different!You will be working with a fully automated test and deploy set up where code quality and smart scalable solutions are of the essence.
