Summary:The Banner Support is responsible for providing administrative, analytical, and coordination support to the Key Accounts Manager: Banner in the execution of the banner growth strategy, performance tracking, and day-to-day partner management. The role is also required to ensure operational execution, data accuracy, campaign coordination, and internal alignment across stakeholders to deliver on customer and business expectationsBanner Channel SupportSupport the execution of the annual banner plan by coordinating activities, promotions, and tracking progress against milestones.Assist with preparing presentations, reports, and analysis for internal stakeholders and banner customer reviews.Coordinate the implementation of customer-facing activities across Banners aligned to the agreed tactical plans.Maintain updated records of store feedback, banner initiatives, and customer performance.Customer and Account AdministrationMaintain accurate banner customer data in CRM tools and ensure all required documents (contracts, proposals, SLAs) are up to date and centrally filed.Assist with onboarding of new banner customers by coordinating internal stakeholders and supporting documentation collection.Monitor execution timelines and follow up with relevant internal teams to ensure timely delivery of commitments to customersSales, Promotion, and Marketing CoordinationAssist with collating input for monthly channel promotions and banner leaflets.Track promotional performance and prepare ROI templates for post-activity reviews.Liaise with marketing, creative, and store teams to ensure banner materials are distributed and displayed according to plan.Reporting and AnalysisConsolidate weekly and monthly sales and performance reports for banner accounts.Support the Key Accounts Manager with comparative sales data, pricing insights, and trends.Prepare dashboards and summary reports for internal and customer-facing engagements.Operational CoordinationTrack and escalate operational issues that impact banner execution (e.g., stock availability, pricing misalignment, delayed marketing collateral).Log and track issues through to resolution, collaborating closely with store operations and customer service teams.Assist with logging insights and feedback from stores and customers for use in continuous improvementQualifications: National Diploma in Business/ Marketing/ Retail Operations related qualification. Bachelor’s degree / Advanced Diploma in Business/ Marketing/ Retail Operations related qualification advantageous.Experience:3+ years’ experience in account support/ sales coordination/ commercial admin or retail operations role preferable in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.Massmart is an equal opportunity employer and encourages all people including people with disabilities to apply for the role.
