Key ResponsibilitiesTo attend pre-service briefings for daily updates, ensuring tasks are followed up efficiently prior to guest’s arrivalTo ensure that mise en place levels are maintained accuratelyTo ensure that relevant grooming standards adhered to, reflecting a professional image for our guests To ensure that tables are appropriately cleared and re-set according to reservation plansTo meet, greet and seat guests in a professional and efficient mannerTo recommend the guest and personalize the serviceTo offer aperitifTo take guest food and beverages requirementsTo co-ordinate the service of food and beverages together with Manager and Sommelier efficiently and accuratelyTo communicate with kitchen and sommelier for specialsTo prepare and present bills accuratelyTo respect the LQE standards at all timesTo respond proactively to guest queries, ensuring that appropriate action is taken in the absence of the manager/assistant, followed by effective communicationTo report and follow up all maintenance defaults affecting efficient and professional delivery of service To wish “farewell” to all guests, ensuring guest satisfaction has been reachedTo perform all duties related to restaurant closing shiftsWhat We Are Looking ForStrong technical skills and knowledge of the BarGood presentation and sense of communication / conversationTeam spirit / TeamworkResponsible / ReliableEnergetic / Positive mindsetPassionate about hospitality and service
