Company DescriptionSearcys have an incredible new venue opening in one of London's most iconic, historical spaces this year and are looking for a Bartender to join the team.As a Bartender for Searcys you will support the Bar Supervisor in the everyday running of the Private Members Club at the National Gallery, create stylish signature cocktails, deliver service excellence to our guests and be proud to serve an extensive wine and champagne programme which is curated by our amazing Head of Champagne.The role will be based in the newly refurbished Sainsburys wing at The National Gallery, and Searcys are proud to be working in collaboration with the World Famous, Michelin starred Chef Georgio Locatelli on this project.As a Bartender you will receive the following industry leading benefits:50% discount across Searcys venuesEnrolment into the Searcys pension schemeUp to 35 days annual leave (dependant on job role)Access to everyday discounts and communication portalEmployee assistance programmeEnrolment into Searcys Champagne SchoolMeals provided on shift when working within one of our venueAnnual celebration eventCycle to work schemeYour birthday off to celebrate in styleA day off to volunteer / give back to the charity of your choiceJob DescriptionThe Bartender will oversee the Bar area , supporting the team to deliver exceptional service, creating and maintaining Drinks and service standards while driving sales through upselling and repeat guests.Salary: £15.85 plus Tronc.Working 5 days over 7Gallery opening hours are 10-6 excluding Fridays that will be 10-9 and weekends 8-6.Responsibilities:You are passionate about food and drinks!Manage the overall beverage offer for the restaurant including cocktails, beers, garnishes and non-alcoholic beverages. Keep and maintain service and operational standards for the bar, making use of best practices and efficiencies where possible. Help with the maintenance of cocktail lists including new and innovative products and combinations while keeping GP and stock control in mind. Build and maintain relationships with guests, team members and clients. Demonstrate a professional and courteous attitude throughout service, acting as a ambassador for the brand. Strive for maximum efficiency and continual improvement of staff productivityAdditional duties as assigned or required by the General Manager. You have 1-2 years in a bartender position Have a strong beverage background A love of coffee is desirable...
