Working hours vary and you must be flexible to operational requirements. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position.What you will be doing:Completing turnaround service checks and yacht preparationBriefing of clients on yacht mechanical systems and safety equipmentMaintenance and repairs to all yachts and yacht equipment– including mechanical, electrical and plumbing, as well as outboard enginesProactive and preventative daily maintenance, including checks and repairsEngine servicing such as oil and filter checks/changesEmergency call outs for breakdownsCompetent movement of yachts between anchor and the dock, and refuellingEnsuring the safety of all clientsAssisting clients with queries and problemsAssisting with the general running of the base and customer service supportAny other duties as advised by your Line ManagerThe ideal candidate will have the following:Experience maintaining diesel engines and 2 & 4 stroke outboard enginesThorough understanding of 12V DC electrical systems and yacht plumbing systemsPractically minded with an ability to solve problemsComfortable prioritising and staying on track with tight time constraintsExperience interacting with guestsSociable and positive personalityA strong team mateYacht sailing experience is desirableWell organised and able to prioritise multiple tasksA flexible working approach, able to meet operational demands in terms of duties and working hour.Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and InclusionWe believe people perform best when they can be their true selves, and diverse teams drive better results.
