Battery Expert - Battery Systems for Charging Infrastructure - DACHEarthstream are partnered with an exciting EV charging business that is rapidly expanding across Europe and looking for dedicated and experienced BESS Engineers to join the team.As a BESS Expert, you will play a key role in scaling battery-backed charging infrastructure across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Batteries are at the heart of their expansion plans, enabling grid-independent deployment, optimized energy management, and new revenue opportunities in the energy market.You will work across design, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance, and collaborate closely with teams in Industry, Energy, and Network Operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a regional energy strategy integrating BESSEvaluate and optimize technical designs for performance, reliability, and cost efficiencyAct as the primary interface to grid operators, external partners, and internal stakeholdersOversee battery system rollout and ensure operational excellence in the DACH regionProvide electrical engineering expertise to teams across EuropeSkills and experience:Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical background5+ years hands-on experience with battery systems (installation, commissioning, operations, compliance)Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for innovationAutonomous team player capable of coordinating cross-border initiativesComfortable working in fast-paced, R&D-driven environmentsFluent in German and EnglishPlease get in touch asap for further details!
