Job Description / ResponsibilityConduct internal audits of hospital departments, financial records, operational processes and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control systems and suggest improvements to reduce risks and enhance operations. Document audit findings clearly and concisely and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
Ensure all departments adhere to hospital policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and applicable laws and regulations. Identify potential areas of risk, fraud, or mismanagement and recommend preventive and corrective measures. Liaise with various hospital departments during audit processes to gather required information and ensure proper implementation of audit recommendations. Conduct follow-up audits to ensure that previously identified issues have been adequately addressed and resolved. Assist in verifying physical inventory, hospital assets, and fixed assets to ensure their proper documentation and utilization. Provide necessary documentation and support during external audits conducted by statutory auditors or government agencies.
Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the internal audit methodology, tools, and reporting systems to enhance audit effectiveness. Educational RequirementsMaster of Business Administration (MBA) in AccountingCA CC from a reputed CA firm with Certificate Level completed.
