Alif Attar Company is looking for Assistant Production ManagerJob Description / ResponsibilityProduction Planning: Developing production schedules and ensuring that production targets are met efficiently. This involves coordinating with different departments such as procurement, maintenance, and quality control. Resource Allocation: Managing and allocating resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth production operations while optimizing costs. Quality Control: Implementing and maintaining quality control standards to ensure that products meet the required specifications and quality standards. This may involve setting up quality assurance processes, conducting inspections, and implementing corrective actions when necessary. Process Improvement:
Continuously improving production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity. This may involve implementing new technologies, streamlining workflows, or optimizing resource utilization. Health and Safety: Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in the production environment to maintain a safe working environment for employees. This includes identifying and mitigating potential hazards, conducting safety training, and implementing safety protocols. Team Management: Leading and managing production teams, including supervisors, operators, and support staff. This involves providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that team members perform their roles effectively and efficiently. Inventory Management:
Monitoring inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure adequate supply to meet production demands while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs. Cost Control: Monitoring production costs and implementing cost-saving measures to optimize production budgets and improve profitability. This may involve identifying areas of waste, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and implementing efficient resource utilization strategies. Communication: Facilitating communication and coordination between different departments involved in the production process, such as procurement, logistics, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment of goals and smooth execution of production plans. Problem Solving:
Identifying and resolving production issues and challenges that may arise during the production process, such as equipment breakdowns, supply chain disruptions, or quality issues. This involves troubleshooting problems, implementing corrective actions, and minimizing production downtime. Educational RequirementsBachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in ManagementBachelor’s degree in any discipline.
