Responsibilities: Oversee & optimize the overall operations related to hospital/diagnostic equipment, reagents & consumables. Ensure efficient procurement, storage, distribution, and maintenance of all items. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance cost-efficiency, product availability, and quality control. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, & monitor performance of suppliers. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, safety standards, and quality certifications for equipment and consumables.
Collaborate with various departments, including clinical, bio-medical, finance, and procurement, to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. Lead and mentor the operations team to foster a high-performance culture. Accountable for budget management and cost optimization for the said items. Drive the acquisition and implementation of new technologies and sources. Educational RequirementsMaster of Business Administration (MBA)Master of Science (MSc) in Biomedical EngineeringMaster of Science (MSc) in Supply Chain ManagementMaster`s degree in Business Administration, Biomedical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Experience RequirementsAt least 12 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
HospitalAdditional Requirements12 years of progressively responsible experience, of which minimum 05 years in a top-level leadership position, with medical equipment/consumables suppliers. Strong knowledge of Commercial, Tax/VAT, Financing and Strategic planning. Proven leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
