Akij Resources is looking for Manager - Administration (Corporate Governance)Key PointsCorporate Governance (Admin) ensures compliance with policies and regulations, leads governance efforts, coordinates with legal teams, handles investigations, manages internal controls, and promotes ethical practices across Akij Resource. Job Description / ResponsibilityRegulatory Compliance & Policy Management : Ensure all administrative operations are aligned with company policies, the Bangladesh Labour Act, and other applicable regulations. Update, implement, and audit administrative policies, including asset use, office conduct, and administrative ethics. Monitor legal and compliance updates and ensure incorporation into internal policy frameworks. Liaison with Legal, Compliance & Regulatory Bodies :
Coordinate with legal advisors and compliance officers for licenses, audits, and labor or factory inspections. Serve as the administrative point of contact for government regulators (DIFE, Fire Service, City Corporations). Prepare and submit compliance documents and responses to official queries or notices. Investigation & Documentation : Lead or support internal investigations involving policy breaches, administrative misconduct, or workplace incidents. Maintain secure and confidential documentation of case reports, inquiry statements, and evidence. Prepare investigation reports with CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) and forward to leadership for decision-making. Internal Control & Risk Reporting :
Identify risks in facility operations, workforce behavior, and documentation gaps in administrative functions. Develop dashboards and reports on risk trends, unresolved grievances, and audit issues. Ensure periodic internal control reviews and share updates with relevant stakeholders. Grievance Procedure Management : Oversee the formal grievance handling process within administrative scope—staff housing, cafeteria, transport, and discipline. Ensure fair hearing, proper documentation, and timely closure of all grievances. Collaborate with HRBP and department heads to improve workplace environment and reduce conflict. Educational RequirementsMaster of Business Administration (MBA)Master of Law (LLM)Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Public AdministrationSkills Required:
