NY Home care Services is looking for Member Service CoordinatorJob Description / ResponsibilityJob ResponsibilitiesThe Member Service Coordinator is responsible for providing care management for clients and their families/support system and advocates for clients to obtain the full range of needed services and ensures coordination of these services. The Member Service coordinator promotes linkage development and monitors the effectiveness of linkages with other services providers. The Coordinator ensures community follow-up to engage the client in care, promotes compliance with medical appointments, and encourages client self-sufficiency and empowerment. Client Communication:
Maintain ongoing communication with clients to update records and ensure satisfaction with our services. Documentation: Accurately document all notes and updates, and verify timesheets for Personal Attendants PAs. Compliance & Coordination: Keep electronic records up to date in compliance with agency policies and regulations. Work closely with the Department of Social Services and Managed Care contracts to ensure timely and accurate record compliance. Application Management: Coordinate applications and monitor caregiver compliance. Incident Reporting & Customer Service: Report all incidents to your immediate supervisor and provide excellent customer service. Perform other duties asEducational RequirementsBachelor/HonorsMasters:
Minimum bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration/ Computer engineering / Marketing / Management / Economics / any other disciplines from any reputed University approved by the UGC. A Level & O Leve will be given preferenceNational University’s students discouraged to apply. Skills Required: MS Outlook, MS ExcelExperience RequirementsAt least 1 year(s)Additional RequirementsExcellent communication abilities, including speaking, writing and active listening. You have to talk throughout the full shift in English, Don't bother if you are not a good English Speaker. Great customer service skills, including a personable and positive attitude.
Good computer skills, including basic troubleshooting and using word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and email software applications.
