Job Description

Esquire Group is looking for Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - HR & ComplianceJob Description / ResponsibilityDevelop and maintain HR and Compliance policies aligned with Bangladesh Labor Law, Buyers’ Code of Conduct (COC), and industry standards. Conduct exit interviews, analyze attrition, ensure smooth employee separation, and implement retention strategies. Assist in grievance and conflict management, identify root causes of absenteeism, counsel employees, and motivate them to improve their performance. Assist in forming and operating Safety, Grievance, and Anti-Harassment Committees to promote a positive work environment and healthy industrial relations.

Maintain and update personal files for all employees, ensuring compliance with HR documentation standards. Conduct orientation and induction programs for new employees to communicate the company`s mission, vision, policies, and procedures. Support training programs for employees on compliance, safety, ethics, and labor law awareness. Handle disciplinary procedures, including grievance management, issuing necessary letters, conducting inquiries, and preparing reports in line with labor laws. Assist in all types of audits and factory visits, coordinating with relevant departments to identify non-compliance issues. Support audits and inspections, including BWB, BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, GOTS, C-TPAT, GRS, etc.

, and assessments of environmental, technical, and social compliance. Assist in developing factories according to ACCORD & ALLIANCE standards (fire safety, building safety, electrical safety) and ensure regular follow-up. Maintain thorough knowledge of the Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and relevant ILO conventions applicable to the RMG sector. Prepare office orders, notices, memos, letters, and follow up with departments regarding HR, compliance, and administrative issues during audits and factory visits. Oversee housekeeping, discipline, and worker activities in the factory to sustain harmonious employee relations and ensure smooth production action processes.

Educational RequirementsBachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Human Resource ManagementMaster of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource ManagementMaster of Business Studies (MBS) in Human Resource ManagementMaster of Arts (MA) in Human Resource ManagementPost Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Human Resources or Social Compliance is preferred. Skills Required: Training & Development, International Relation, Human Resources & Development, Compliance Audit, Bangladesh Labor Law, Internal Audit and Compliance, Buyers Compliance (BSCI, Compliance Welfare activities, Reporting and documentation skill, Buyer Compliance ManagementExperience Requirements5 to 8 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio) and Google Suite. Proficient in HR Database and payroll software Kormee. Experience in employee welfare, grievance management, and training programs. Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills in English and Bengali.
