We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing team, working to decarbonise buildings and construction, currently responsible for around 40% of global carbon emissions.Join our team to drive the growth of a leading global SaaS in construction and manufacturing life-cycle assessment (LCA), amplifying both our business and positive climate impact.We are close to doubling our business each year, meaning you will play a pivotal part in making this happen within the Manufacturing sector. Join us to help grow a business that plays a key role in delivering a zero-carbon future for us all.You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and understanding customer needs to help them find solutions that ensure their success with our software. This is partially an outbound sales role, focused on engaging with both existing and potential customers to expand our market presence. In this role, you will primarily be working with manufacturing companies in the North American.You will join a supportive, effective, and mission-oriented team in a flexible, friendly work environment. You will be working with cutting-edge tools and a team of world-class professionals around the globe to solve one of the world’s biggest challenges.This full-time, permanent position is available on a remote basis for candidates based in Canada or United States.What you will do:Hunt and close strategic new business sales in ARRBe part of expanding the offering of Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) tools in the Manufacturing sectorPerform outbound prospecting to generate min 3 x pipeline target coverageKeep up to date on developments around LCA and EPD standards, PCRs and practicesEducate prospects on the value and opportunities of LCA tools, EPD and low-carbon constructionSupport our LCA software product development where neededAttend industry events around North American region when necessaryWhat you need:We are seeking someone with a proactive, hunter mentality in sales3+ years of B2B Sales, Account Management or Business Development experience with a successful track record of growthBackground in engineering, comfortable with solution sellingAbility and motivation to maximise the potential of the assigned territoryMotivation to help others succeed and to find solutions to their obstaclesPreferably, an understanding of LCA/EPD and their importance in the construction/manufacturing industryFast learning skills and a desire to improve constantly, using what worksCustomer- and results-oriented attitude and a hands-on approachCurious, with the ability to understand a client’s perspectiveFull proficiency in English and fluency in other languages is beneficialWhat we offer:Work that contributes to a more sustainable futureSubstantial freedom, with no fixed hours and remote working supportedTechnical challenges, substantial responsibility and the chance to see the results of your workCompetitive compensation with uncapped performance bonusesA dynamic, friendly, motivated and diverse team of professionalsMayflower is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
