Our mission connects disability rights to racial justice, and we’re looking for compassionate, dedicated individuals to join our team.Now Hiring in Los Angeles, CA and Nearby AreasApplicants must be willing to drive within a 15-mile radius of their home ZIP code to provide in-home services.What You’ll Do As a Behavior TechnicianYou’ll work one-on-one with children using play-based ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy techniques to help them learn and grow. Responsibilities include:Supporting social skills like sharing and cooperative playEncouraging verbal and nonverbal communication through interactive activitiesTeaching emotional regulation and coping strategiesPromoting positive behavior using reinforcement techniquesGuiding motor skill development through structured playEnhancing problem-solving and thinking skillsEncouraging daily living skills such as self-care and following routinesNo ABA experience required—you will receive extensive paid training during a required, in-person two-week program.Why This Role MattersJoining SNN means becoming part of a mission that brings hope, support, and real change to families navigating developmental disabilities. Your work helps children reach their full potential and thrive.RequirementsRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentWork Availability Monday through Friday (2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) and possibly Saturdays (9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)Full Availbility for a 2-week paid training (Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)Reliable transportation is required for this position. Candidates must be able to provide, upon request, a valid driver’s license, current vehicle registration, and valid auto insurance that includes them as a listed driver on the policy.Comfortable using a personal device for data entry (stipend provided)Physical ability to kneel, run, lift up to 35 lbs, and move quickly as neededExperience with children is a plus (e.g., school, daycare, or after-school programs)Background in Psychology, Child Development, or related fields is a plusBenefits401(k)Flexible scheduleProfessional development assistanceReferral program
