Provides expertise in and responding to employees and vendors. Familiar with a variety of benefits concepts, practices, and procedures.Essential FunctionsAdministers Federal, State and Company leave programs functioning as a liaison between vendors and employees while advising on eligibility, coverage and other benefits matters. Serves as the point of contact for vendors, people leaders, or employees escalations related to leave and disability cases. Verifies integrity of timekeeping reporting and pay related processes to ensure compliance and accurate reporting/pay. Prepares and validates invoicing. QualificationsEducation Level: Bachelor's Degree OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.Licenses/Certifications PreferredCertified Benefits Professional (CPB)-World At Work.ExperienceLess than one year experience with hands on training within an HR department obtained through internship or similar role. Experience as a benefits assistant or other benefits experience. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (KSAs)Basic knowledge of variety and structure of retirement plans, pensions, 401(k)s, IRA's and Roth IRAs. Ability to learn in-depth various health insurance plans (HMOs and PPOs). Ability to translate technical information on benefits to non-technical audiences. Ability to conduct research on benefits plans and changes to healthcare and insurance regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging. Salary Range: $55,800 - $110,825Salary Range DisclaimerThe disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the work is being performed. This compensation range is specific and considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, and market and business consideration.
