You'll lead the team responsible for maintaining reporting excellence from regulatory and compliance reporting to enterprise dashboards while driving automation and infrastructure improvements that make data delivery faster, cleaner, and more reliable.This role shapes the heartbeat of our data ecosystem, building reliable systems today while engineering for the scale, speed, and insight we'll need tomorrow.What you will do:Operational ExcellenceOversee data support operations, driving quality, responsiveness, and clear service standardsDefine and track operational SLAs, success metrics, and data quality KPIsDrive automation and process optimisation to reduce manual reporting and improve operational efficiency, with added advantage if capable of implementing AI-driven automation solutionsRegulatory, Compliance & GovernanceLead and govern regulatory and compliance reporting, ensuring precision, timeliness, and full audit readinessEstablish and enforce data quality and availability standards across BI environmentsBI Platform & Infrastructure ManagementOwn and optimise the dashboard ecosystem, improving reliability, performance, and user adoption across the organisationCollaborate with Data Engineering and Data Analytics Leads to enhance reporting infrastructure and semantic data layersCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Product and Engineering teams to assess downstream data impacts of product changes, ensuring data readiness and integrity across systemsLeadership & Team DevelopmentCoach and mentor the BI & Data Ops team to build deep technical and operational capabilitiesRequirementsAt least 5 years' experience in Business Intelligence, Data Operations, or BI InfrastructureAdvanced proficiency in SQL and deep expertise with BI and visualisation tools, including performance tuning, data modelling, and governance best practicesProven track record in operational governance, automation, and data quality managementAbility to lead cross-functional initiatives across business, data engineering, and analytics teamsExcellent stakeholder management skills and a strong sense of operational ownershipBenefitsTime off - We would love you to take time off to rest and rejuvenate.
