The role translates business needs into actionable insights, develops metrics, and maintains tools and reports that support operational and strategic priorities.Job ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes structured and unstructured data to identify trends and generate insights that support operational and strategic decisions.Documents current state data processes and requirements to inform improvements in reporting and analytics.Collaborates with business teams to define meaningful metrics and develop proof-of-concept models.Designs and builds reports and dashboards using Power BI to support business-critical functions.Writes and maintains SQL scripts to automate data cleansing, transformation, and validation processes.Supports data migration activities by validating data integrity and resolving defects during system transitions.Applies data profiling techniques to assess data quality and support governance and cleansing initiatives.Presents findings and recommendations to stakeholders across all levels of the organization.Works with data transformation tools and ETL processes to support reporting and analytics development.Stays current on AI and advanced analytics trends and applies relevant techniques to improve business intelligence.Job QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related quantitative field.Minimum 4 years of experience in a data/business analysis, or report developer role.Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure Data Factory, and Synapse or similar tools.Expert-level proficiency in SQL (T-SQL or PL/SQL) and Excel for data manipulation and analysis.Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL concepts, and query optimization.Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into data solutions and metrics.Knowledge of data hygiene, data cleansing, governance, and transformation practices.Excellent communication and documentation skills to convey complex data insights clearly.Inclusion And Equal Opportunity EmploymentTSSA is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
