Bid and Proposal SpecialistDepartment: Commercial - Reports to: Manager, Bid / RFP Response StrategyLocation - Hybrid with 3 days a week in the Dublin office !Are you a skilled writer with some project management skills and with a passion for creating compelling proposals? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams to secure new business? If so, we want you to join our team as a Proposal / Bid Manager!In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing the proposal process, ensuring that bids are aligned with the organization’s commercial objectives and delivered on time. You will collaborate with sales, marketing, pricing, and other teams to craft clear, concise, and persuasive proposals that win clients and drive business success.Key Responsibilities:Bid Strategy Development: Create a bid strategy that aligns with the company’s goals, assesses client needs, evaluates competition, and highlights our unique value proposition.Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with sales reps, marketing, pricing teams, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure consistency across all proposal materials.Proposal Planning & Execution: Develop detailed proposal plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, ensuring each proposal is thoroughly addressed.Proposal Writing & Editing: Write, edit, and review proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and a compelling message. This includes executive summaries, technical sections, pricing details, and more.Document Management: Organize and maintain the RFPio repository for bid-related documents, templates, and reference materials to streamline future proposal processes.Key Interactions:Sales Reps/Account Managers: Collaborate to understand client needs and tailor proposals accordingly.Marketing Team: Gather market research, competitive analysis, and relevant collateral materials.Pricing Team: Work together on pricing strategies, cost estimates, and discounting considerations.Qualifications:Over 3+ years of relevant experience (minimum 2 years of sales proposal experience), preferably in a B2B service environment. with BS/BA degree.Prior experience with business or creative writing is a must and experience with presentation software and crafting sales presentations is an advantage.Basic project management skills to organize tasks, manage timelines, and meet deadlines.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly and confidently.Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships across teams and functions.Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Why Join Us?Impact: Your work will directly influence the success of our business development efforts.Collaboration: Be part of a dynamic team that values communication, teamwork, and shared success.Growth Opportunities: Develop your proposal management and project management skills while contributing to a fast-growing company.If you’re a proactive, detail-oriented professional who loves writing, collaborating, and managing projects, we would love to hear from you and encourage you to apply for this role!Location - Hybrid with 3 days a week in the Dublin office !
