Job Description

About the Role:We are seeking a motivated Bidding & Tendering Engineer to support instrumentation projects. You will prepare technical and commercial bids, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure successful project execution. This role is remote, with the core team based in Egypt/saudi Arabia.Key Responsibilities:Bidding & Proposal SupportReview tender documents, RFQs, and technical specifications for instrumentation systems.Prepare technical and commercial bids in coordination with control engineers and project teams.Perform cost estimation, pricing analysis, and margin calculations.Support bid clarifications, revisions, and negotiations with clients and vendors.Technical & Commercial EvaluationSelect instrumentation products using OEM configuration tools (e.g., CONFIG X, IMALL..etc.).Request and analyze supplier quotations, ensuring compliance with project specifications.Prepare comparison sheets and recommendations for technical and commercial decisions.Purchasing & Supplier ManagementIssue RFQs and purchase orders for instruments and automation materials.Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and terms with local and international suppliers.Identify and onboard new suppliers to strengthen sourcing capabilities.Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.Project & Order CoordinationCoordinate with engineering, operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely order processing and material delivery.Support project execution by resolving procurement-related issues and risks.Documentation & ReportingPrepare system architecture for proposed solutions.Maintain procurement files, bid documentation, contracts, and purchase records.Generate cost breakdowns, proposals, and procurement reports using Excel and Word. Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Sceince Engineering , or related fields.1–3 years of experience in bidding, purchasing, or procurement for instrumentation projects.Experience working with OEMs or system integrators preferred.Required Skills:Technical Skills:Knowledge of instrumentation principles.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and Word.Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems is a plus.Soft Skills:Strong negotiation and commercial awareness.Excellent communication and coordination skills.High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.Ability to work effectively in cross-functional project teams.Additional Requirements:Strong analytical and cost evaluation skills.Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.Willingness to travel occasionally if required.Knowledge of control systems and automation principles.Why joining us:Remote Flexibility & Collaboration: Enjoy the balance of working remotely while staying fully integrated with a highly skilled, supportive engineering team.High-Level Industry Exposure: Work on large-scale industrial automation and instrumentation projects in partnership with global Top OEMs.Impact & Recognition: Join a medium-sized team where your individual efforts are noticed, and your contributions directly drive project success.Opportunity for Career Growth & Learning: Access a clear pathway for professional advancement through hands-on experience in tendering, procurement, and project execution.
